For the first time since December 2013, Brooklyn welcomed back Brook Lopez in the starting lineup. Lopez started the game but only played 2:49 in the opening quarter because of two quick fouls. But he still finished with 18 points, six rebounds and two blocks. "It felt good to be out there with the guys," Lopez said after the win. "We couldn't have started off a better way at home." The Nets started out strong, built a 32-19 first quarter lead and never looked back. Six Nets scored in the double digits, including Deron Williams with 17 points, 9 assists and Alan Anderson who tallied 18 points in 16 minutes off the bench. Joe Johnson also added 13 points and 6 assists. The Thunder, who only had 9 eligible players due to all their injuries, was led by Reggie Jackson's 23 points. Perry Jones and Sebastian Telfair, a Brooklyn native, chipped in 16 apiece while Serge Ibaka tallied 15 points and 9 boards. Andre Robberson, who started, left the 1st quarter and did not return due to a foot sprain. The Brooklyn Nets, 2-1 stay at home and host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night.
