Congratulations Brico Santig. Active young Filipino promoter Brico Santig of Baguio received for a second year in a row the coveted "WBC Asia-Pacific Promoter of the year Award" during a formal awards ceremony held at Asia Hotel in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand.

"It's an immense honor for me to accept this award from the World Boxing Council (WBC). It encourages me press forward with more boxing events aimed at helping develop the sport of boxing in the Philippines and Asia. I share this honor with the Filipino boxing family," said the 37-year-old Santig, the matchmaker and promoter in the Philippines with the highest number of boxing events in the year, including the exciting boxing cards "King of the Ring" staged at different PAGCOR Casino Filipino around Manila.
