"México has produced some of the greatest champions in boxing. Juan Manuel Márquez is one of them," shared WBO President Francisco Varcarcel.

"If I would have had my career in the times of Juan Manuel, I wouldn't have wanted to fight a fighter like Juan Manuel Márquez," said with a smile boxing legend Julio César Chávez Sr.

"He has an unbreakable faith," added Márquez's coach Hall-of-Fame trainer Ignacio "Nacho" Beristáin.
