FARENAS-PEDRAZA TITLE ELIMINATOR DONE DEAL FOR NOV 14 IN PUERTO RICO

It's a done deal for Sorsogon-native Michael 'Hammer Fist' Farenas to face undefeated IBF No. 6 contender Jose Pedraza (18-0-0, 12KO) of Caguas, Puerto Rico on Nov. 14 for the IBF title eliminator at Pedraza's backyard in Puerto Rico, Farenas' manager Gerry Penalosa has informed PhilBoxing.com.
Farenas (39-4-4, 31KO) who came from an impressive win against previously undefeated Mark 'Too Sharp' Davis last July 2 in Mashantucket, Connecticut, is ranked No. 2 by the IBF in the super featherweight division and is the hightest rated challenger to the belt held by American champion Rances Barthelemy of Miami, Florida.
Barthelemy will defend his title against No. 3 ranked Fernando David Saucedo of Argentina this weekend, Oct. 4, at the Foxwoods Resort in Mashantucket, Connecticut. The winner of the Barthelemy-Saucedo title fight will face the winner of the Farenas-Pedraza title eliminator in a mandatory title defense.
