Lee Reeves.

Irish boxer Lee Reeves (16-2, 11 KOs), 31, was rushed to the hospital after being knocked out in the tenth round of his fight against Gary Cully (20-2, 11 KOs), 30. He was knocked down by a powerful blow to the face, which left him unconscious. He is currently in critical but stable condition.

The Reeves-Cully fight took place on Saturday, August 1st, at the Dublin 3Arena and was for the BUI super lightweight championship, promoted by Queensberry Promotions.

In the fifth round, the referee deducted a point from Reeves because his mouthguard had come loose for the fifth time. Then, in the final round, he was knocked down but managed to get back up. However, Cully then landed a left hook that caused the second knockdown and ended the fight, leaving him completely unconscious. He was immediately given emergency oxygen before being stretchered off to a local hospital.

Reeves began his career in 2018 and has fought in Canada, the United States, England, Ireland, and Colombia.

An official medical report on Reeves' condition has not yet been released; it is only known that he is hospitalized under medical observation.
