Sabaupan to thrill Camsur fans
By Dennis U. Eroa PhilBoxing.com Sat, 20 Sep 2014

Power-punching Al Sabaupan tries to continue winning the hearts of his fellow Bicolanos as he shows his wares against unpredictable Eddy Camaro September 21, Sunday at Sipocot, Camarines Sur.
Promoted by Saved by the Bell Promotions headed by youthful and dashing Batangueno sportsman Elmer Anuran and supported by the provincial government under the hugely popular Governor Migz Villafuerte, the fight is expected to cement Sabaupan?s place as one of Bicol?s top sportsmen.
??I would like to thank Governor Migz for his continued support in promoting boxing in Camarines Sur. This will be our third time to hold a boxing extravaganza in the province and SBB can say that our host as always is magnificent. Camarines Sur is warm and friendly and we will always come back,?? said Anuran, also chief architect of Touch Gloves Boxing Gym in Agoncillo, Batangas.
Making the fight special for Sabaupan ( 22-2-1, 17 knockouts) is the fact that he hails from Sipocot.
??I don?t want to disappoint my fans, sir. I?ll go for a knockout,?? said Sabaupan.
This will be the third time that Sabaupan will box infront of his provincemates.
Last March, Sabaupan earned thunderous applause as he floored gutsy Thai fighter Rachamongkol Sor Pleonchit in the 8th round. Two months later, Sabaupan returned at the Pili Capitol Convention Center to force the retirement of African Sadiki Momba.
''I want to keep my winning streak going,'' said Sabaupan.
