NBA -- Paul Pierce inks 2-year deal with Wizards

CHICAGO -- At age 36, 10-time NBA All-Star Paul Pierce isn't done yet.
The 6-foot-7, 235-pound guard inked a two-year deal with the Washington Wizards on Sunday. The contract, which has a player option after one year, is worth $11 million, according to multiple reports including ESPN.
Pierce is a 16-year NBA veteran who spent 15 seasons with the Boston Celtics where he won a title in 2008 and pocketed the NBA Finals MVP trophy along the way. Along with Kevin Garnett, he was traded to the Brooklyn Nets last season.
Pierce played 75 games with the Nets last season and averaged 13.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per. "Obama, Wall, here I come," Pierce said on Twitter on his arrival in Washington D.C. (Homer D. Sayson)
