NBA Finals -- Pinoy Spurs fans brave Heat arena in Game 3

MIAMI -- A sold out crowd of 19,900 screaming fans trooped to the American Airlines Arena for Game 3 of these NBA Finals yesterday here in downtown Miami.
This being the Heat's den, the AAA crawled with a partisan crowd who were clad most in White Hot shirts. Except for a handful few, including two Filipino accountants who flew from the Bahamas to root for the San Antonio Spurs.
"I like the Spurs," June Ann Simpron, proudly clad in Spurs gear, told PhilBoxing.com as she enjoyed the sights of watching players from both competing teams shoot-around shortly before tip-off.
June's companion, also a Bahamas-based accountant, wore a Spurs shirt. But in order come out of the arena alive and well, Rene Prades wore a few layers over his Spurs gear soon after the Heat arena was packed and Game 3 went full throttle.
Tickets for Game 3 went as high as $10,000 for a courtside seat. The cheapest tickets were for $200 a pop and it came with no reserved seat, just a standing spot at the 400 section.
Prades and Simpron paid $258 each for their tickets way up in the bleachers section. But after watching their Spurs wallop the Heat, 111-92, it's safe to say their investment was well worth it. (Homer D. Sayson)
