NBA FINALS: ALL SYSTEMS GO FOR GAME 2
By Adeline Deladisma PhilBoxing.com Mon, 09 Jun 2014

SAN ANTONIO -- After a controversial Game 1, where arena temperatures rose to over 90 degrees, the AT&T Center air conditioning has been fixed and will be ready to go for tomorrow's Game 2.
"The AC system has been tested, is fully operational and will continue to be monitored," said a statement from Spurs Sports and Entertainment.
Miami Heat star LeBron James was the biggest casualty of Game 1's heat wave fiasco. The 4-time MVP and 2-time NBA champion was forced out of the game with cramps at the 3:58 mark of the fourth quarter with the Spurs nursing a narrow 94-92 lead.
But the king is ready for Game 2.
"I was very angry and disappointed with the fact that I couldn't help my team. I know my team needed me the most and it's frustrating," James told reporters. He said he fells "pretty sore" and has had "2 1/2 bags of IV."
"I'll be out in uniform on Sunday. I'll be 100 percent," James said.
The Heat led 78-74 after three quarters of Game 1, but the Spurs went on a 36-19 run the rest of the way to take a 110-95 victory.
The Heat hope to even the series tomorrow before the best-of-7 series shifts to the American Airlines Arena for Games 3 and 4 next week. (AD)
