Weigh In Results and Report for United Promotions May 3 Fight Card

Mississauga, Canada - Here are the weight in results for tonight?s United Boxing Promotions fight card that will take place at the Mississauga Hershey Centre. Filipino Canadian boxing sensation Marc ?Gwapo? Pagcaliwangan makes his second appearance fighting at home turf against a heavy handed slugger and number one ranked super bantamweight from Georgia George Gachechiladze.
Marc ?Gwapo? Pagcaliwangan (6W-0L-1D) made weight easily, his opponent George Gachechiladze (14W,7KO-10L,6KO-1D) came in a few pounds overweight of the contractual weight of 122lbs and needed an hour to shed the excess pounds.
After an hour Gachechiladze still came in a pound over weight. The Manager of Team Gwapo Mark Erwin commented that the fight is on, Team Gwapo will fight at even terms without penalty to George Gachechiladze?s purse.
In the main event, Canadian Middle weight Champion Brandon Cook and his opponent Phil Rose easily made their contractual weight.
Hometown favourite and Hamilton native Steven ?The Pirahna? Wilcox will also fight in the under cards against Mexican Saul Mendoza.
The Filipino Channel will be also be on site to video and cover Marc Pagcaliwangan?s fight at the Hershey Centre.
