NBA Playoffs - Wizards' Nene suspended for Game 4
By Homer D. Sayson PhilBoxing.com Sun, 27 Apr 2014

CHICAGO -- Power forward Nene' will not play when the Washington Wizards host the Chicago Bulls tomorrow in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference round-one series at the Verizon Center.
The NBA, through president of basketball operation Rod Thorn, announced the suspension without pay Saturday afternoon.
Nene was ejected at the 8:28 mark of the fourth quarter of the Wizards' 100-97 Game 3 loss to the Chicago Bulls at the Verizon Center. Following a scuffle, Nene' put his hands around Chicago's Jimmy Butler and attempted to take down the Bulls forward.
Nene's suspension is a big plus for the Bulls, who trail the best-of-7 series 2-1. The 6-foot-11, 250-pound Brazilian is an integral part of the Wizards. Shooting 53.3 percent from the field, the 31-year old Nene is averaging 17 points and 6.3 rebounds in this postseason against Chicago.
Before he knew his fate for Game 4, Nene told ESPN "I have nothing to regret. I'm a warrior right there. What I did, I'm supposed to do."
While Washington heads to Game 4 without Nene, they remain a dangerous team the Bulls cannot take lightly.
"They still got a bunch of guys who can score, a bunch of guys who are physical, a bunch of guys who can rebound," Bulls forward Taj Gibson told the Chicago Tribune. (Homer D. Sayson)
