NBA -- Kings' Big 3 hand Bucks a royal beating

SAN FRANCISCO -- If the Miami Heat has a Big 3, so do the Sacramento Kings.
Center DeMarcus Cousins, point guard Isaiah Thomas and wingman Rudy Gay combined for 86 points to lead the Kings to a 124-107 demolition of the Milwaukee Bucks Sunday night at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento.
Cousins finished with 32 points and 12 boards while Thomas tallied 30 and eight assists. Gay recorded 24 more and the Kings raced to 39-16 first quarter lead before leading by 40 --- 102-62--- with 1:52 left in the third quarter.
The one-sided romp was a welcome relief for the 25-45 Kings who has had a disappointing season despite a talented roster.
The Bucks, meanwhile, continued their downward spiral, losing their seventh straight and 10 of their last 11 contests. Milwaukee continues to languish in the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings with a 13-57 record.
"That first quarter we didn't put up enough of a fight. First of all, we have a tough time matching up against that team. We wanted to keep him (Cousins) off the block as much as we could, but he stepped out and made shots," Bucks head coach Larry Drew told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel after the beating.
O.J. Mayo led the Bucks with 21 points while Ersan Ilyasova finished with 14. Ramon Sessions added 13 and six assists.(JSM)
