NBA -- Warriors rough up Mavs, 108-85

SAN FRANCISCO -- The Golden State Warriors won their fifth straight outing Tuesday night by blowing past the visiting Dallas Mavericks, 108-85, at the Oracle Arena in Oakland.
Warriors ace Stephen Curry struggled with just 10 points on 4-for-12 shooting but the rest of the Warriors picked up the slack.
Jordan Crawford came off the bench with 19 and Andre Bogut had 15 and 10 boards. Klay Thompson pitched in 14 while Harrison Barnes logged 13 as the Warriors improved to 41-24, sixth place in a deep Western Conference field.
Monta Ellis led the Mavericks with 15 but Dallas couldn't get anything going all night, shooting just 30 of 82 form the field, a poor 36.6 percent clip.
Dirk Nowitzki was held to 12 points on 4-for-11 shooting while Vince Carter had similar struggles, making only 3 of 10 shots for 10 points. Jose Calderon finished with 13 and five assists.
Dallas fell to 38-27 in the standings, leading the Phoenix Suns by just 1 game for the 8th and last playoffs berth in the Western Conference. (JSM)
