NBA -- Warriors rally past Kings, 101-92

SAN FRANCISCO -- Down 76-75 after three quarters of play, the visiting Golden State Warriors opened the fourth quarter with a 12-3 run to put away the Sacramento Kings, 101-92, Wednesday night at the Sleep Train Arena.
David Lee provided the muscle and the scoring with 23 points and 11 boards and the Warriors improved to 32-22 for seventh place in a loaded Western Conference. Klay Thompson had 18 for Golden State while Steph Curry and Ande Iguodala chipped in 13 points apiece.
Despite playing without center DeMarcus Cousins, the Kings put up a gallant stand, but they just couldn't stop the Warriors fourth quarter surge. Isaiah Thomas led Sacramento with 26 and seven assists and Travis Outlaw added 18. Rudy Gay finished with 16 and eight boards.
"I love the way my guys responded, took care of the basketball on the road, which is a huge step, especially with us trying to get better," Warriors head coach Mark Jackson told NBA.com
With their loss, the Kings dropped to 18-36, the worst in the Western Conference. (DM)
