MONTIEL NOW IN CEBU!
By Salven L. Lagumbay PhilBoxing.com Sat, 17 Feb 2007

CEBU, PHILIPPINES--World Boxing Organization (WBO) superfly king Fernando Montiel jetted into Cebu on a Philippine Airlines flight PR 847 today, and safely arrived at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport with his team solidly behind him.
The Mexican world champion was accompanied by his father-trainer-manager Manuel Montiel, and his brothers Eduardo, Pedro, and Manuel, Jr.
Top Filipino promoter Sammy 'Don King' Gello-ani was on hand to meet the group at the airport, along with some television crew and three lovely roundgirls who eagerly waited for Montiel's arrival.
The group immediately proceeded to the Rajah Park Hotel, the official home of Team Montiel for the fight.

Montiel will defend his world 115-lb crown against Cebuano speedster Z 'The Dream' Gorres in the main event of the 'Moment of Truth' card on February 24 at the Cebu City Sports Complex.
This afternoon, Colombian Feider Viloria planes in around 1:30 PM together with his manager.
Both Montiel and Viloria will take part in tomorrow's arrival press conference to be hosted by Sammy Gello-ani's SGG Sports Promotions and the Cebu City Marriott Hotel.
