NBA - Bulls look to bounce back versus Sixers By Kelly Manalo PhilBoxing.com Sat, 18 Jan 2014 CHICAGO -- In what could be another snowy day here in the Windy City, both the visiting Philadelphia 76ers and host Chicago Bulls look to rebound from losses when they face each other at the United Center Saturday night. Last night the Bulls took on the Washington Wizards which resulted in a 96-93 loss. There were multiple lead changes and ties but Chicago was unable to sustain any offense going into the fourth quarter. They scored only one field goal in the final 5 minutes of the fourth quarter. On Wednesday night Chicago was victorious against the Orlando Magic in a game that went to 3 overtimes and saw Jimmy Butler play a record high 60 minutes. That could have played a factor in the Bulls play against the Wizards. The game against the 76ers will be the third game in four nights. Philadelphia is coming off a loss against the defending champion Miami Heat. This game turned out to be a blowout with the score 101 to 86. Miami was up as big as 25 points. The last time these two teams met, the Sixers pulled off the upset with rookie guard Michael Carter Williams stuffing the stat sheet with a triple double. Chicago has played decent since trading away all-star forward Luol Deng. The Bulls have went on a small win streak since his departure, but the fan base and players still have been in a type of mourning period. Some fans even screaming for the team to ?tank? the rest of the season to get a high draft pick. While the Sixers may be bound for the lottery, the Bulls identity is to play hard and win every game, with the belief that they can still win with the team they have.
