NBA -- Curry's late jumper carries Warriors over Celtics

SAN FRANCISCO -- Stephen Curry calmly sank a 21-footer with 2.1 seconds left to play and the Golden State Warriors escaped with a narrow 99-97 victory over a game Boston Celtics Friday night at the Oracle Arena in Oakland.
Curry finished with 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Klay Thomspon, the other half of Golden State's Splash Brother, added 17.
But it was the clutch play of veteran Andre Iguodala in the fourth quarter was instrumental in handing the Celtics their seventh straight debacle.
Iguodala, who was acquired as a free agent from the Denver Nuggets during this past off season, chalked 22 points and seven rebounds to give the Warriors their 11th win in 12 games. They are 25-14 overall.
Jeff Green led the Celtics with 24 and Jared Sullinger added 21 and 14 rebounds while Kris Humphries chipped in 16 and 11 boards. Boston dropped to 13-24. (JSM)
