Randy Petalcorin is currently sparring with WBC #8 Omari Kimweri at the BoxingFit Gym in Melbourne, Australia in prepartion for Petalcorin's scheduled bout against Samransak Singmanasak of Thailand on Nov. 8, Peter Maniatis, Petalcorin's Australian promoter, has informed Philboxing.
Petalcorin went 6 rounds with Kemweri Thursday and will do another 8 rounds on Monday, Maniatis informed.
Petalcorin (19-1-1, 14KO) who is rated #2 by the WBA at light flyweight, will defend his PABA light flyweight title against Singmanasak (35-20-1, 27KO) at Town Hall in Malvern, Victoria on November 8.
Petalcorin also did a boxing exhibition and a meet and greet with the Filipino community in Melbourne during the weekend including ?a joy ride in a Ferrari and a private boat cruise?, Maniatis informed.
Maniatis said Petalcorin's weight is on target and his boxer is all set and excited for the Nov. 8 bout.
