CEBU CITY -- The tough kid from Panama, The former interim WBA Super Flyweight Champion Rafael ?El Torito? Concepcion has arrived in Cebu and rekindled memories that he had from the queen city of the south. On July 26, 2008 he came from behind to knock out the local favorite AJ ?Bazooka? Banal to capture his world title.
Concepcion arrived Sunday morning and was in high spirits. He was accompanied by his experienced trainer Rigoberto Garibaldi.
They wasted no time to get back on track and proceeded to the Cebu City Sports Complex to stretch the legs and get back into the groove after a long trip from Panama. Concepcion arrived in Cebu in perfect condition and is just 3 pounds above the contracted weight of 122.
