In a Canelo Promotions event, Filipino Rey "Flash" Perez (left) is set to challenge undefeated Mexican rising star Andr?s "Jaguarcito" Gutierrez for the WBC Super Bantamweight Silver title on Saturday night (Sunday morning in the Philippines) at the Auditorium General Arteaga in Quer?taro, M?xico.
In his last fight in January, the 22 year-old Filipino Rey Perez (17-3, 3 KOs) of the the Brunsmick Stable in Santa Rosa, Laguna, fought a 12 rounds rumble against former champ Hugo Cazares, losing a close decision by points.
Meanwhile, the 19 year-old "Jaguarcito" Guti?rrez, promoted by world champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, comes from an exciting knockout win over fellow Mexican Salvador Sanchez II last April at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
The Jaguarcito Guti?rrez vs Rey "Flash" Perez clash for the WBC Super Bantamweight Silver Title in Quer?taro is a presentation of Canelo Promotions in association with Cerveza Corona and will be aired live on Televisa.
