RACHMAN, SOROLLA MAKE WEIGHT!

JAKARTA--Both IBF minimumweight champion Muhammad Rachman and Filipino challenger Benjie Sorolla easily made weight at the official weigh-in held at the Front Row Sports Grill, with IBF officials in attendance.
Rachman came in at 104.5 lbs, while Sorolla tipped the scales at 103.5 lbs both in their first try at the scales.
Earlier today, the two fighters also passed a strict medical test conducted by the IBF and the local commission.
Another weigh-in is set for the fighters are 9AM tomorrow at the Hotel Atlet Century Park, and the IBF has a rule that states fighters should not weigh more than ten percent of the regulatory weight of 105 lbs, meaning, at no instance should each boxer come in beyond 115.5 lbs.
"I respect you, Sorolla, but I will only give you five rounds at most," said Rachman, who will be celebrating his birthday tomorrow, at the weigh-in attended by several mediamen.
Supervising today's fight is Australian Ray Wheatley, while the third man on the ring is another Australian John Wright. Judges for the fight include a Thai, and one each from each fighter's country.
Also in attendance at today's weigh-in was promoter Soeryo Goeritno, his son Andrei Goeritno, and officials of the local commission. Tourino Tidar, who made the matchmaking of this fight, emceed the proceedings.
Tomorrow's event also features in the undercard the following match-ups: Kirno Armase versus Tony Areman; Victor Mausol versus Abi Metyaman; and Wido Paes against Moses Makarawe.
