Laurente KO'd in PABA Title Bout!

The Philippines' Pederito Laurente came up short in his bid to winthe regular Pan-Asian Boxing Association (PABA) superbantam title after he was stopped in the second round by Thailand's Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym on Tuesday in Rom Klao, Minburi, Thailand.
The referee halted the fight at 2:34 of the round after a barrage by Poonsawat, as the Filipino was clearly unable to keep up with the pressure applied by the champion, obviously the effect of a long lay-off taking its toll.
