NBA -- Bulls bounce back, win by 30 over Bobcats
By Homer D. Sayson PhilBoxing.com Sat, 23 Feb 2013

CHICAGO -- Embarrassed at home by the Miami Heat on Friday night, the Chicago Bulls unleashed their frustrations on the road Saturday night and walloped the Charlotte Bobcats, 105-75, at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Barely 24 hours after being held to 67 points in a 19-point beating against the streaking Heat at the United Center, the Bulls went on a tear in Charlotte and shot 50.6 percent from the field (42-of-83) while whipping up a season-high 37 assists. Hounded by 27 turnovers against Miami, the Bulls only had six against the placid Bobcats defense.
Seven Bulls players finished with double figures in scoring, led by Taj Gibon, who had 17 and six rebounds. Luol Deng had 14 while Nate Robinson and Jimmy Butler added 12 each. Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer combined for 20 points and 18 rebounds and Rip Hamilton chipped in 10 points.
Charlotte Bobcats team owner Michael Jordan watched at the sidelines in frustration as his team missed 50 of 75 field goals (33.3 percent) including 12 of 16 from 3-point range (25 percent). The bobcats showed more futility from the free throw line, making only 21 of 35 freebies for a low 60 percent clip.
Kemba Walker paced the Bobcats with 27 points, but he got little help from his teammates.
The Bulls improved to 32-23 while the Bobcats, the worst team in the NBA, fell to 13-42. (Homer Sayson)
Besides putting up a good defensive effort, Carlos Boozer had 10 points and 10 rebounds as the Chicago Bulls destroyed the Charlotte Bobcats, 105-75, Friday night at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte.
