ANDRADE SAYS BAUTISTA IS JUST A 'NEWBORN'

TAMPA, FLORIDA--Just minutes ago, Brazilian Giovanni Andrade boldly informed Philboxing.com that top Filipino prospect Rey 'Boom Boom' Bautista is just 'his son, and he is a newborn.'
Andrade, accompanied by his trainer, approached promoter Sammy 'Don King' Gello-ani while having dinner with the media, and was looking for the manager of Bautista.
When told that Gello-ani is the promoter for the young phenom, Andrade made faces and said Bautista has no chance to beat him.
As Andrade was making the statements, Bautista was already safely tucked in his suite at the Hyatt Regency Tampa, already getting some forty winks to prepare for the big night. Andrade, meanwhile, seems to still have jetlag in his system.
Bautista and Andrade battle it out in a 10-round war this Saturday (Sunday in Philippines) in the undercard of the Winky Wright-Ike Quatey showdown at the St. Pete Times Forum here.
More than 10,000 tickets have already been sold out for the show, and promoter Oscar De la Hoya thinks the venue will be full come fight night.
