DONAIRE-ARCE OFFICIALS NAMED

Fight officials for the WBO super bantamweight world title fight between sensational 30 year-old world champion Nonito Donaire (30-1, 19 KOs) of the Philippines and 33 year-old Mexican brawler Jorge "El Travieso" Arce (61-6-2, 46 KOs) of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, this Saturday at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, have been named.
Referee in charge of the action will be the experienced 49 year-old Laurence Cole of Texas, son of Dick Cole, current head of the Texas Boxing Commission.
Judges at ringside: Raul Caiz Sr. of California, Levi Martinez of New Mexico and Javier Alvarez of Texas.
Fight supervisor will be Francisco "Paco" Valcarcel, 62, of San Juan, Puerto Rico, President of the World Boxing Organization (WBO).
The Donaire-Arce clash, a promotion of Top Rank, is for the WBO super bantamweight (122 lbs) crown as well as for the WBC Diamond super bantamweight belt.
