PhilBoxing.com

LAS VEGAS, Nevada - Hugely popular boxers Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and Juan Manuel "Dinamita" Marquez are scheduled to make their grand arrival in Las Vegas tomorrow noon ahead of their 12-round Welterweight Clash this Saturday night and the The MGM Grand Resort & Casino is already decorated and ready for the important boxing event presented by Top Rank and broadcast live on HBO Pay-Per-View.

Huge posters and billboards of Pacquiao and Marquez hang around the facade, lobby and corridors of the fame hotel and casino, making it absolute impossible for guests and fans not to notice that their much awaited fight is only five days away.

The MGM Grand Shop sell the Pacquiao-Marquez4 official hoodies and t-shirts, having the t-shirts like the one in the photo a tag price of $25 and sales has been good, though seemingly not as dynamic as for Pacquiao-Marquez 3 in November 2011.

Tomorrow Tuesday (Dec 4), will be the Pacquiao and Marquez's "Grand Arrival" ceremonies at MGM Grand's main hotel lobby around noon Las Vegas Time (4am Manila Time), and this writer will be ready to photograph and report the warrior's arrival.

Wednesday, December 5 is the final Pacquiao-Marquez4 Press Conference, which will take place at MGM Grand's Hollywood Theater at 12:30 pm PT preceded by a media luncheon at noon.

The Undercard Press Conference with the appearance of Filipinos Mercito Gesta, Michael Farenas and Doddie Boy Pe?alosa, along with their teams and respective opponents Mexican Miguel "Titere" Vasquez, Cuban Yuriorkis Gamboa, is scheduled for Thursday, December 6 at 11:30 am at the MGM Media Center (Studio Rooms A & B).

The important Official Weigh-In Ceremony for all boxers taking part in this Saturday's card takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Friday, December 7 at 2:30 pm PT (6:30am Manila Time), and is available to the public with doors opening at noon.

Finally, since Las Vegas is the world's capital of gambling, some boxing fans (must be older than 21) at the MGM Grand interested in betting check the fight odds (see photo), which have Pacquiao as favorite with a current line:

Manny Pacquiao -370
Juan Manuel Marquez +280

Explanation:

Betting $370 for the Pacman will make you win $100 (Pacquiao favorite)

Betting $100 for the Mexican Marquez will get back $280.

As of today, the Knockout/Decision/Draw Proposition are as follows:

Marquez by knockout 5/1
Marquez by decision 4/1
Pacquiao by knock out 9/5
Pacquiao by decision EVEN
12 Round Draw 22/1
