WBC FLYWEIGHT CHAMPION IGARASHI FACES ARGENTINA'S NESTOR NARV?EZ IN JAPAN
By Carlos Costa PhilBoxing.com Sun, 02 Sep 2012

WBC Flyweight World Champion Toshiyuki Igarashi (left) will make the first title defend the famous green/golden belt against unbeaten Argentinian Nestor Narv?ez on November 3 in Sendai, Japan, announced the World Boxing Council (WBC) in its official web page.
World champion Toshiyuki Igarashi (16-1-1, 10KO's) of Tokyo, captured the WBC flyweight title via split decision over Filipino Sonny Boy Jaro last July in Kasukabe, Japan.
Meanwhile, the 30 year-old Argentina challenger Nestor Narv?ez (19-0-2, 9KO's), younger brother of reigning super flyweight world champion Omar "El Hurac?n" Narv?ez, is WBC's world #9 flyweight as well as WBC interim Latino Flyweight champ.
Nestor Narv?ez's world title challenge in Japan has excited Argentina boxing fans who would love to see two Argentinian brothers as world champions at the same time, an amazing feat never before seen in Argentina's rich boxing history.
The WBC flyweight (112 lbs) world title clash Igarashi-Narv?ez will take place in the historic coastal City of Sendai, Capital of Miyagi Prefecture, and is a production of Japan's top promoter Akihiko Honda of Teiken Promotions.
