BAUTISTA, RUIZ INK GRUDGE REMATCH CONTRACT
PhilBoxing.com Fri, 15 Apr 2011

The contract of what is expected to be one of the most exciting and highly anticipated fights in recent years has been signed by the two main characters involved in this upcoming epic battle.
Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista of the Philippines and Heriberto Ruiz of Mexico have signed their respective spaces of their contract for the sixth edition of the PINOY PRIDE mega boxing event series scheduled June 11, 2011 in Cebu City.
PINOY PRIDE 6: GRUDGE REMATCH will again feature two of the top gladiators of the featherweight division who once have met in the squared circle with the Mexican knocking down the Filipino warrior en route to a unanimous decision verdict.
It was a bitter loss for Bautista who suffered the second setback of his career but has never given up on the chance to redeem himself from that defeat.
In a recent press conference announcing the said rematch done a week ago during the PINOY PRIDE 5 weekend in Bacolod City, Bautista shed some light to the national media present on how much he has dreamed of this rematch confessing that he had a rotten bone in his lead left hand and could not execute his game plan but likewise affirming his loss and not making the injury an excuse.
?I have never stopped thinking bout our last fight where he made me bleed. Blood was spilled then and blood will be spilled again. Bautista said. ?I will make sure that it will be his next time we meet on June.? The Bohaolano added.
PINOY PRIDE 6: GRUDGE REMATCH is a proud presentation of ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports in cooperation with the Cebu City Government. This special boxing presentation is also brought to you by the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, Diamond Suites and Residences, Thirsty Juices and Shakes, Mooon Caf?, SM City Cebu and Parkmall.
