HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. (April 13, 2011) ? BWAA Fighter of the Decade CONGRESSMAN MANNY PACQUIAO, trainer World-Famous FREDDIE ROACH, and Hall of Fame promoter BOB ARUM will host a Media Day Workout Next Wednesday! April 20, at the Wild Card Boxing Club (1123 North Vine St. ? one block north of Santa Monica Blvd. -- Hollywood, Calif. 90038).
Roach and Arum will be available for one-on-one interviews at 2 p.m. PT with Pacquiao?s media workout beginning at 3 p.m. PT. Pacquiao will do interviews before his workout.
Pacquiao (52-3-2, 38 KOs), of General Santos City, Philippines, is in his final three weeks of intense training for his defense of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title against Sugar Shane Mosley (46-6-1, 39 KOs), of Pomona, Calif. Mosley and Pacquiao, with world titles in 11 weight divisions between them, will go toe-to-toe on Saturday, May 7, at the soldout MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. Promoted by Top Rank, in association with MP Promotions, Sugar Shane Mosley Promotions, Tecate and MGM Grand, Pacquiao vs. Mosley will be produced and distributed live by SHOWTIME PPV?.
