BANTIGUE TKO'S IKEHARA IN JAPAN!

Manila-based Lowie Bantigue easily dispatched of Ryuji Ikehara yesterday in five rounds at the Chinen Gym in Nanjo, Okinawa, Japan in their scheduled ten-rounder.
Bantigue, who was accompanied by his manager Ryan Gabriel, said he was elated with this latest win and hopes to fight some more next year to continue his winning spree.
"He was down three times," Bantigue told this writer in an interview from Hongkong during stopover.
Bantigue said he has now improved well under his new management team after a so-so career in Cebu that saw him becoming a journeyman despite being hailed a prospect early on.
