Up and coming ALA boys No. 1 OPBF superfly contender Z "The Dream" Gorres and WBO Asia-Pacific superfeather champ Czar Amonsot did light workout today at the famed Wildcard Boxing Club of 2003 trainer of the year Freddie Roach.

Trainer Edito "ALA" Villamor, in an e-mail to PhilBoxing.com, reported that Gorres, Amonsot and Villamor together with boxing manager and ALA big boss Antonio L. Adeguer and business agent Michael Koncz went to the Wildcard Gym today for a morning workout.

Gorres and Amonsot were warmly greeted by conditioning coach Justin Fortune, who had helped train Z Gorres last year when he fought and TKOd Filam Glenn Donaire in the first round in the undercard of the Pacquiao-Morales I.

The two boxers did a 15-minute warm-up that included light shadow-boxing, skipping rope and stretching as ordered by trainers Freddie Roach and Villamor. This was immediately followed by a 4 round punchmitts for each of them, then a series of heavy bag and speed drills followed. Finally they did abdominal sit-ups to wrap-up their training regimen for the day.

Gorres will face Mexican Samuel Lopez while Amonsot will take on American Arturo Quintero in an event promoted by Guilty Boxing Promotions at the Orleans Casino in Las Vegas on Feb. 3, 2006.

While doing their exercises, Gorres and Amonsot were greeted by WBC lightfly champ Brian Viloria, who had arrived in the gym together with his father Ben. On their way out the ALA group were met and greeted by Manny Pacquiao and his entourage who had now arrived at the gym for their scheduled workout for the day. Pacquiao is nearing the homestretch of his preparation for the much awaited blockbuster superfight rematch with Mexican legend Erik "El Terrible" Morales on Jan. 21 also in Las Vegas.
