WBO TIFF SET FOR TOMORROW!

Another important WBO tiff takes place tomorrow when Nino Magboo goes up in weight to take on compatriot Rey Las Pinas for the vacant WBO Asia Pacific superbantamweight title at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
The event, co-promoted by Solar Sports and Elmer Anuran, is dubbed "Young Guns" and will feature in the main event Drian Francisco taking on Panama's Ricardo Nunez in a WBA title eliminator.
At today's weigh-in supervised by WBO Asia Pacific chairman Leon Panoncillo who has tirelessly worked hard to improve the WBO name in Asia, Magboo came in at 121.5 lbs, while Las Pinas was a shade lighter at 121 lbs.
Magboo previously held the WBO Asia Pacific bantam title, but opted to move up in weight.
In the night's third title bout, Al Sabaupan takes on Indonesia's Heri Adriyanto for the vacant IBF Pan Pacific lightweight title.
