JACA, LUNAS TOP BARILI CARD THIS SATURDAY

Former OPBF superbantam champ Jimrex Jaca and ex-PABA flyweight king Rolly Lunas try to get rid of ring rust as they see action against separate opponents this Saturday at the Barili Gymnasium in Barili, Cebu.
The 22-year-old Jaca (22-1-1, 9 KO's), who last saw action on May 24 in Tokyo, will take on PBF no. 4 lightweight contender Renato Maghuyop in the 10-round co-feature. This will be Jaca's first fight as a junior lightweight, where he will now be campaigning, owing to weight problems making the featherweight class, according to his manager Rex "Wakee" Salud.
The co-feature will pit Rolly Lunas going up against Cagayan De Oro journeyman Jaime Acerda in another 10-round bout.
The rest of the pro bouts pit Jerope Mercado versus Jun Mala; and Allan Jay Tunacao against Jomar Labiogo.
Preceding the pro encounters are amateur tiffs pitting Barili boys against Cebu fighters.
Bernardo Rio Jr goes up against Jonathan Nacua; Rolito Ningasca trades leathers with Leo Stamped; Franklin Undaloc swaps mitts with Whight Gono; Wendel Sacil takes on Titing Morales; while Roland Paras slugs it out with Alex Baricuatro.
The event, sanctioned by the Games and Amusements Board, is for the benefit of the Amateur Boxing Association of Barili.
