Kiatchanachai: I will knock out Ellis in four rounds

PhilBoxing.com

Kiatchanachai (L) and Ellis.

With just over a month remaining until his big IBO World Youth Title contest in Australia, Denkamol ?Krabi Kid? Kiatchanachai has further intensified the tension between himself and half-Filipino prospect Heath ?The Heat? Ellis by stating that he will knock his opponent out in four rounds.

Kiatchanachai, 22, who has a record of (9-1, 5 KO?s) spoke exclusively to PhilBoxing through a translator from his training camp in Krabi, Thailand. Throughout the interview Kiatchanachai was adamant to let everybody know that he was not coming to Australia as an opponent.

?I have trained very hard for this bout with Heath Ellis, I want to make sure everyone in Australia knows that I am not coming to their country to fight as the opponent. When the people see me fight, they will know that I am no joke and that I will be returning home to Thailand as the World Youth Champion.?

Kiatchanachai went on to say;

?I am very aware of my opponents record, I have seen that he has beat many Thai boxers... this is very upsetting to me because Thai fighters are proud fighters that fight to defend the honor of our country, these fighters have not done this.?

?I have been cancelled as the opponent for Heath Ellis three times; first in December of last year for IBF Title, also in March and April only to be cancelled all three times. This shows me that Heath Ellis is scared of me. My friends tell me when they watch me train they can see why he does not want to fight me.?

This year Kiatchanachai has had four bouts for four wins compared to Ellis? one. Three of the Krabi kid?s victories have come by way of knockout. He says that this is due to his new training regime in which is has implimented a large amount of reflex training, without the use of any type of weights.

?When people look at my record and they only see five knockout wins, they begin to believe that I am not a powerful boxer. I am looking forward to proving people wrong, this fight is very exciting for me because it will be my chance to show all of Asia who I am and that I am going to be the best.?

Team Ellis were unavaliable to reach for comment.

Denkamol Kiatchanachai will fight Heath Ellis for the vacant IBO World Youth welterweight title on a Peter Maniatis promotion on July 24th at the famed Malvern Town Hall.
