VILLAMOR CONFIDENT OF MELLIGEN'S CHANCES

Reporting from Las Vegas, ALA Gym chief trainer Edito Villamor has indicated that his ward Mark Jason Melligen has been preparing so hard for his upcoming fight on May 1 against Ramon Montano at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
According to Villamor, Melligen is now weigh-ing 147.5 lbs, and should not have a problem going down to the junior welterweight level which is the contract weight for the Montano fight.
Melligen has been training at the Mayweather Gym in Las Vegas under the guidance of both Villamor and long-time Cebu resident and now Vegas-based Tony Martin.
