21ST WBO CONVENTION KICKS OFF!

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA--The much-awaited 21st WBO Annual Convention kicked off here with no less than WBO president Paco Valcarcel getting an overwhelming nod to lead the organization once again for the next four years.
Also present at the convention is top regional leader Leon Panoncillo, who leads the WBO Asia Pacific arm. Panoncillo is also credited for his new brainchild, the WBO Oriental organization.
Under Panoncillo's watch, the Asia Pacific and Oriental organizations have reached previously unreached heights, making both organizations the most active in such countries as Australia, Philippines, Thailand, South Korea, Samoa, New Zealand and Indonesia.
The officials' seminar takes place tomorrow at the official convention venue Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Spa.
