DARCHINYAN TKO'S MIJARES IN 9TH!

Vic Darchinyan has just stopped Cristian Mijares in the ninth round to win the linear superflyweight title.
Darchinyan scored an early knockdown in the first, and seemed to have never recovered from that as Darchinyan imposed his will thereafter.
"I wanted to prove the predictions wrong. I was encouraged by all those who say that I had no chance to win the fight," said Darchinyan.
