THAI PROMOTER EYES RP FIGHTERS IN KING?S 81ST BIRTHDAY ANNIVERSARY

An international promoter from Thailand has invited his Filipino counterparts to send a team in a big time boxing promotion to be held in connection with the 81st Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on December 5.
Siraphop Ratanasuban, known in boxing circle as Songchai Jr., said the competition will be held on the 3rd and 5th day of December.
?I?ve been organizing boxing promotion for this very auspicious day for 20 years. I?ve brought in great boxers from around the world to fight our Thai boxers and broadcast it live to the audience nationwide. I?d like to invite you all to join this great event and preferably send your boxers to fight in it,? wrote Songchair Jr., who is international vice president of One Songchai Co., Ltd, in his email to several Philippine-based promoters and managers.
He added: ?Please don?t hesitate to contact us because we have to prepare the following schedule: 1. We have to plan out our PR strategy. 2. We have to confirm our broadcasting station. 3. We have to make lists of guests who will visit the Thailand Prime Minister on 4th December.
Boxers expected to join in the December slugfest are from the Wakee Salud Stable in Cebu, Aljoe Jaro Stable in Binangonan, Rizal and Elorde Stable in Para?aque City.
