PALICTE TO BE FEATURED IN TODAY'S 'SAVED BY THE BELL"

Fast-rising superfly Vincent "Popeye" Palicte sees action in the main bout of today's edition of Saved by the Bell, as he goes up against Jongjong Gagante in a scheduled 8-rounder which took place in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro.
The 23-year-old Palicte, born in Bago City and training out of the TouchGloves Gym in Batangas, fought for the Philippine Navy during his storied simonpure days where he represented the country from 1999 to 2005 in different international meets.
Also to be featured in today's SBB edition is the fight between Jonard Abonales and Genesis Mabalot, as well as the Roberto Gonzales-Esmalben Bujas rumble.
The bouts will be aired from 2 to 3PM over RPN-9 with replay on Solar Sports from 6 to 7PM on Monday, according to SBB CEO Elmer Anuran.
