By Salven L. Lagumbay PhilBoxing.com Sun, 31 Aug 2008

SGG Sports Promotions yesterday formally inked the contract with the Cebu Grand Hotel making it the official hotel for the September 14 "Daytime Boxing" at the New Cebu Coliseum.
The event will be headlined by ALA Boy Michael Domingo defending his WBO Oriental bantam title against ex-world champ Ratanachai Sor Vorapin of the Kokiet Gym.
Another former world champion, Somsak Sithchachawal of Thailand, is also slated to see action in this big card.
The contract-signing was done yesterday at the Cebu Grand Hotel between promoter Sammy Gello-ani and Carlo Suarez, representing Cebu Grand Hotel.
Also witnessing the contract-signing was Viva Sports/Standard Today's Ronnie Nathanielsz, who commentated in last night's "WBO Night of Champions" card at the Waterfront Hotel.
