GERRY GASOLINA PREDICTS OSCAR WILL WIN AGAINST PACQUIAO
By Salven L. Lagumbay PhilBoxing.com Sat, 26 Jul 2008
CEBU CITY--Gerry Gasolina, a close friend of Oscar De la Hoya who is currently in this city to watch the AJ Banal-Rafael Concepcion showdown, says that the legendary six-division world champion should win against superstar Manny Pacquiao if they fight on December 6.
"Oscar's secret weapon will be the 'tacon' (soles) on his shoes, that's why he would look tall for Manny Pacquiao," says Gasolina, who indicated that De la Hoya actually stands only about 5'8 or 5'9 in height, but the shoe soles make him look taller.
Gasolina, meanwhile, says that the Filipino fans are the best fans in the world, having personally met some of the nice Filipinos here who are avid fans of boxing and Manny Pacquiao.
