NBA ALL STAR 2026: USA VS. WORLD By Maloney L. Samaco PhilBoxing.com Sun, 16 Nov 2025 ![]() The 75th NBA All-Star Game on February 15 next year will consist of a three-team round robin tournament with two teams made up of United States players and a World team of international players. The tournament will consist of four 12-minute contests and will be hosted by the Los Angeles Clippers at Intuit Dome, which opened last year in Inglewood, California. Two teams would play in the first game, with the third team facing the winner of the opening match, then playing the loser of the opener. The championship game will headline the top two teams based on records or point difference in case of triple tie. Each team will be made up of a minimum of eight players, and the All-Star voting will determine 24 players (12 from each conference) and all players will be chosen regardless of position. Five players who will become “starters” will be selected from both the Eastern and Western conferences with fans counting 50% of the vote, players 25% and a media panel 25%. The seven players from each conference picked as reserves will be selected by NBA head coaches. In case the All-Star voting would not reach 16 US players and eight international players being chosen, NBA commissioner Adam Silver will select the additional All-Stars to join either group to reach that minimum, which could give one roster more than eight players. The NBA All-Star Game of last year was participated in by international players Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, a Canadian player and current NBA Most Valuable Player of Oklahoma City, French center Victor Wembanyama of San Antonio, Serbian center Nikola Jokic of Denver, Greek center Giannis Antetokounmpo of Milwaukee, Cameroonian forward Pascal Siakam of Indiana and Turkish center Alperen Sengun of Houston.
