Undefeated Lightweight Kaipo Gallegos…2025 Prospect of the Year?

PhilBoxing.com

“I want to be known as an exciting fighter, someone who never backs down from a challenge and always gives the fans something to remember" -Kaipo Gallegos

LAS VEGAS, NV (September 24, 2025) – At just 19 years old, undefeated lightweight standout Kaipo Gallegos (10-0-1, 8 KOs) is quickly making noise as one of boxing’s brightest young stars. Co-promoted by Boxlab Promotions and Shuan Boxing, Gallegos has already achieved what many fighters don’t until much later in their careers, capturing the WBA Youth Continental and WBO Youth titles while building a reputation as one of the most exciting young fighters in the sport.

Gallegos has sharpened his craft in Las Vegas, where he’s shared the ring with elite names such as Shakur Stevenson, Keyshawn Davis, Mario Barrios, Robeisy Ramírez, and Alberto Puello, gaining invaluable experience that has only fueled his rapid development.

After graduating to 8-round fights in just his third professional bout, Gallegos has continued to prove he belongs among the top young fighters in boxing. In 2025, he is currently 3-0 with 2 KOs, and with one more fight scheduled before the end of the year, he’s aiming to close out with a perfect 4-0 campaign, further solidifying his case for 2025 Prospect of the Year honors.

Amaury Piedra, President of Boxlab Promotions, believes Gallegos’ maturity, discipline, and fan-friendly style set him apart from his peers as he states, “Kaipo Gallegos is not just one of the best young fighters in our stable—he’s one of the best young fighters in the entire sport. At 19 years old, he’s already accomplished things most fighters don’t achieve until their mid-20s. What impresses me most is his willingness to take on challenges, his humility outside the ring, and his ability to shine under the lights. He has all the tools, power, skill, and composure, to become a world champion, and his trajectory is pointing straight toward superstardom.”

For Gallegos, the focus remains on improvement, excitement, and proving himself every time he steps into the ring. “I’m really proud of the progress I’ve made so far in my career, but I know I still have a lot to prove,” said Gallegos. “I want to be known as an exciting fighter, someone who never backs down from a challenge and always gives the fans something to remember. Every fight is a chance to grow, and I’m thankful for my team and everyone who believes in me. This is just the beginning, and I’m only getting better.”

At just 19 years old, Kaipo Gallegos is turning heads in the lightweight division with his talent, power, and fearless style. As he gets ready to finish 2025 with another big win, the message is clear—when it comes to Prospect of the Year, all roads lead to Kaipo.
