Day Three Finalized at the 2025 USA Boxing Junior Olympics and Summer Festival

PeeWee Eight-Year Old Champions Decided During Wednesday’s Action

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (June 18, 2025) – Two hundred fifty-four more bouts were contested across two sessions on day three of the 2025 USA Boxing Junior Olympics and Summer Festival inside the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev. Among the many bouts contested throughout the day, the Peewee eight-year-old divisions were finalized, with eight champions crowned during the opening session.

Half of the PeeWee division, the eight-year-olds, was decided on Wednesday, pushing the event across the halfway threshold. The remainder of the PeeWee division will be decided during Thursday’s opening session, with the 9-10 ages contending for the championship’s Summer Festival portion of the tournament.

In the evening session, there were plenty of fireworks among the older divisions to close out the day. Noah Arroyo (Wilmington, Calif.) of The Rock Boxing Gym put on a display against his opponent and earned an impressive 4-1 decision.

“I felt good, but I’ve been out of the ring for a while, so my timing was a little bit off, but we got the job done, and I’m just looking forward to moving on to the next round,” said Arroyo of his performance in the Elite Male 154-pound bout. “This is what I train for every day, putting in the work back home with my team, and it means everything to me [to win]. I’m just looking forward to putting on another great performance tomorrow and getting the gold this week.”

Day four of the 2025 USA Boxing Junior Olympics and Summer Festival continues on Thursday, June 19. Session one will get underway at noon PT, followed by session two at 6 p.m. To view brackets, bout sheets and all other tournament information for the 2025 USA Boxing Junior Olympics and Summer Festival, fans can navigate to the event page, linked HERE.
