Middleweight Slugger Raul Salomon Returns to Action April 19 at Thunder Studios in Long Beach PhilBoxing.com Fri, 18 Apr 2025  LONG BEACH, CA (April 17, 2025) – Hometown knockout artist Raul Salomon (14-3, 12 KOs) is set to return to the ring in a scheduled 6-round middleweight bout against Argentina’s battle-tested veteran Crispulo Javier Andino (26-16-1, 12 KOs). The action takes place April 19 at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, California, on a hard-hitting card presented by Showtime Promotions, and will stream live on WBCBOXING.com. Fighting in Long Beach for just the second time in his career, Salomon is eager to deliver another explosive performance in front of his hometown crowd. “There’s nothing like fighting in Long Beach,” said Salomon. “I will have all the support of my people, the love—I feed off it. Last time I fought here, it was off the charts, and I plan on making it even more memorable this time around.” Coming off a focused and intense training camp, Salomon is prepared to make a statement against Andino, a rugged Argentine known for his durability and experience. “Andino’s has close to 50 fights and he’s been in there with some tough guys, and I respect that,” Salomon continued. “But I had a full training camp, and I have plans to take him out. I’m going into this fight with bad intentions.” Despite sporting a strong 14-3 record, Salomon believes it doesn’t reflect his true ability. “Honestly, I should be undefeated. I was robbed in all of those losses—plain and simple. But I don’t dwell on it. I’m still here, still knocking guys out, and still proving I’m one of the most dangerous middleweights out there.” concluded Salomon.
