Earlier in the evening, Francisco Rodriguez, Arturo Cardenas, Tahmir Smalls, and Zaquin Moses all secured victories in their respective bouts. However, the night belonged to Jaron "Boots" Ennis, who delivered a statement-making performance to claim unified welterweight glory in Atlantic City.
