Transatlantic Clash II - "Battle at the Bridge"

USA vs. UK Boxing Showdown Set for Friday

LONDON, UK (April 2, 2025) – This Friday, the highly anticipated Transatlantic Clash II: "Battle At The Bridge" will electrify the boxing world as Team USA and Team UK go head-to-head in an explosive international showdown. Brought to fans by promoters Dennis Hobson Jr. and Steve Crump of Fight Academy, and John Tretheway of TM14 Promotions, this thrilling event will feature elite talent from both sides of the Atlantic battling for national pride and the prestigious Transatlantic Clash Trophy.

In a unique twist, each team will be led by legendary boxing figures. Team USA will be under the guidance of International Boxing Hall of Famer Roy Jones Jr., while Team UK will be coached by former European (EBU) super bantamweight champion Spencer Oliver. This high-stakes contest promises to deliver action-packed bouts as rising stars put it all on the line for their respective countries.

"This event is all about showcasing the best talent from both nations and reigniting the historic boxing rivalry between the UK and the USA," said Dennis Hobson Jr. of Fight Academy. "We are thrilled to have my good pal Roy Jones Jr. be a part of this monumental series, along with Spencer Oliver, and fans can expect fireworks in the ring."

John Tretheway of TM14 Promotions added, "Bringing together top-tier fighters, world-class coaches, and passionate fans makes this event truly special. The Transatlantic Clash Trophy is on the line, and every boxer on this card is hungry to prove themselves on the international stage."

Fans around the globe can tune in to catch the excitement live on talkSPORT, a premier sports radio and streaming platform serving the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, in association with FightZone.

Headlining the card is an intense 10-round super featherweight bout featuring Marley Mason (5-2-1, 1 KO) of Southend-on-Sea, Essex, UK, taking on Mandeep Jangra (11-1, 7 KOs) of Cantonment, Florida, USA. Both fighters are eager to make a statement on the international stage and secure a defining victory for their team.

Aurel Ignat (9-0, 8 KOs) – Wembley, London, UK vs. Stanley Johnson (7-0, 5 KOs) – Houston, Texas, USA (6-round Cruiserweight bout)

Lucas Roehrig (3-0, 2 KOs) – London, UK vs. Brian Jones (4-1, 3 KOs) – Joplin, Missouri, USA (6-round Cruiserweight bout)

Harry Armstrong (6-2-1) – Torquay, Devon, UK vs. Cory Macintosh (3-1, 2 KOs) – Aberdeen, South Dakota, USA (5-round Heavyweight bout)

Arnie Dawson (5-0, 2 KOs) – Clacton, Essex, UK vs. Divante Jones (13-3, 6 KOs) – Augusta, Georgia, USA (5-round Super Lightweight bout)

This international clash of warriors will showcase the grit, skill, and determination of both teams in a night filled with thrilling action.
