PhilBoxing.com

Fight fans are in for a thrilling night as Matchroom’s latest NXTGEN show takes center stage at Planet Ice in Altrincham on Friday, March 28. The stacked card, headlined by Manchester’s Pat Brown taking on Argentina’s Frederico Javier Grandone in a cruiserweight contest, will be broadcast live worldwide on DAZN.

Doors open at 17:00 local time, with the action kicking off at 17:30 on Before The Bell, followed by the main broadcast on DAZN from 19:00.

Before The Bell Undercard

The evening starts with a welterweight contest between Liam Taylor (10st 6lb 14oz) from Middleton, England, and Jamie Stewart (10st 5lb 4oz) of Stoke-on-Trent. Taylor looks to continue his momentum against the always-game Stewart in this six-round bout.

Next, Welsh super-middleweight Taylor Bevan (12st 1lb 8oz) takes on the Czech Republic’s Ales Makovec (12st 4lb 10oz) in what promises to be an exciting clash of styles.

Rounding out the Before The Bell segment, Manchester’s light-heavyweight Conner Tudsbury (12st 11lb 12oz) faces Scotland’s Robbie Connor (12st 12lb 9oz) in a six-round encounter.

Main Card on DAZN

At 19:00, the live DAZN broadcast begins with a super-welterweight battle between Manchester’s William Crolla (11st 2lb) and Emmanuel Zion (11st 1lb 14oz) from Dulwich, England.

Following that, an English Super-Middleweight contest pits Clitheroe’s Reece Farnhill (11st 13lb 3oz) against Mark Dickinson (11st 13lb 11oz) from West Rainton in a 10-round showdown.

The co-main event of the evening will see Cameron Vuong (9st 8lb 11oz) of Blyth and Jordan Flynn (9st 8lb 13oz) from Oxford battle for the WBO European Lightweight Title over 10 rounds.

Finally, the night culminates in a thrilling cruiserweight main event featuring local favorite Pat Brown (14st 8lbs 10oz) against Buenos Aires’ Frederico Javier Grandone (14st 6lb 10oz). Brown, eager to make a statement on home soil, faces a tough challenge in Grandone, who looks to upset the crowd in Manchester.

With rising stars and high-stakes contests, this NXTGEN event is set to deliver an action-packed evening for boxing fans worldwide. Don’t miss the live coverage on DAZN.
