The bitter Eubank-Benn feud has reignited this week as the fighters go head-to-head in two major Press Conference meetings in Manchester and London. It’s been 35 years since their legendary boxing fathers Chris Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn slugged it out in the first of two ferocious battles for the World Middleweight and Super-Middleweight titles in the 1990s. The family rivalry is considered one of the most iconic in boxing. Old Trafford was the venue for the second and final Benn and Eubank battle on October 9 1993, which ended in a draw. Yesterday, their sons returned to the city for a seismic head-to-head meeting with hundreds of fans witnessing the fireworks.
