DUARTE VS. MADUEÑO MEDIA WORKOUT QUOTES PhilBoxing.com Thu, 13 Feb 2025  SATURDAY, FEB. 15 - LIVE FROM HONDA CENTER AND BROADCAST WORLDWIDE ON DAZN ORANGE, Calif. (Feb. 12, 2025) – Golden Boy Promotions hosted a media workout today at SOA Fitness in Orange ahead of the Mexico vs. Mexico main event brawl featuring world title contender Oscar “La Migraña” Duarte (28-2-1, 22 KOs) who will face a newly installed opponent, Miguel “El Explosivo” Madueño (31-3, 28 KOs). The 12-round super lightweight bout is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15, is presented in association with Cancun Boxing and Camponovo Sports, and will be broadcast worldwide on DAZN. Fighters from the DAZN undercard and Duarte vs. Madueño's Prelims streamed on YouTube were also present. “I think it’s a very important fight. The fight I have in front of me is the best fight of my life," said Oscar Duarte. "I trained very hard and I think it’s going to be an amazing fight. I think that he is a very experimented fighter and he likes to come forward. It’s going to be a toe-to-toe fight. I prepared very hard for this fight in Riverside with Robert Garcia. I felt very good during preparation so I feel confident in will win this fight." 
“I feel this fight is going to be very explosive. It’s going to be a good fight for me, for him and for the fans," said Miguel Madueño. "The fans will not be disappointed. I’ve been studying him (Duarte). He’s an extraordinary fighter with a heavy hand and is very resilient. I don’t think I should underestimate him. He’s a respectable fighter. Hopefully we give our best in the ring.”
